Sponsorships for the 2014 CGSL 36th season

About CGSL:

Last year, we had over 200 girls playing on 14 teams in five divisions.  Although our league is small by many towns’ standards, our program is among the best in the state.  The Chariho girls have always been competitive with other towns when we meet during post season and all-star competition.  However, the level of enjoyment and constructive activity that we provide for our players demonstrates the real success of our league.

We are a volunteer organization, run entirely by parents.  We meet year-round on the second Wednesday of each month at the Richmond Community Center located above the Richmond Police Station.  Our season officially starts on Opening Day where we recognize each sponsor and contributor.

Our expenses are many including umpires' fees, insurance, trash removal, port-a-johns, field maintenance, equipment, trophies, printing and postage, etc.  We rely on sponsorship fees, registration fees, and fundraising to run the league.

Sponsorship Benefits:

Each team will wear the name of the sponsor on their shirt.  Sponsors will see their names in the Westerly Sun, where the game scores will be listed in the local sports section.  Teams are also invited to march in the Memorial Day Parade through Hope Valley in their uniforms! Great fun and great exposure. Like last year, this year we will be providing a banner that will identify each sponsor.  This banner will be hung during games at Richmond Field. Your business name will also appear on our web-site.

For new team sponsors or website ad sponsors, before mailing in a form please contact the League President for availability.

Chariho Girls Softball League is a 501(c)(3) charitable nonprofit. Your donations are deductable to the full extent allowed by law.
